The Plugable USB2-SWITCH2 USB 2.0 Switch is the ideal solution for one-touch switching of access between two computers to a USB-based mouse, printer, scanner, and many other types of USB devices. Attach a powered USB hub to the switch instead of a single device for switched access to everything connected to the hub.

Features

Share one USB device between two computers with the press of a button. Connect two computers to the switch via the included USB cables and attach any USB 2.0 device to enjoy a simpler way to share USB devices. Driver installation for the attached devices may be required on the connected computers.

A single button press is all that's required to change control of the attached devices between the connected computers. LED indicator lights show which connected computer has control.

Compatibility

The USB2-SWITCH2 works without drivers on any USB-enabled computer (Windows, Mac, Linux).

Not compatible with USB docking stations or USB graphics adapters.

USB devices that require the full 500mA of bus power provided by USB 2.0 are not recommended for use with this switch.

In the Box

Plugable compact USB 2.0 switch, two 59in/1.5m USB cables for connecting two computers to the switch

Sofia ★★★★★

Plugged in my mouse and printer, and the one-button switch instantly moved both between my work laptop and personal PC. No more crawling under the desk to swap cables — this little box just works.

Aurora A. ★★★★★

I was worried about sharing my printer between two PCs, but this switch handles it without any hiccups. The one-touch button makes switching instant, and I haven’t had to unplug anything since I set it up.

Scarlett ★★★★★

The button on top clicks firmly, and I can flip my printer and mouse between my work laptop and desktop in under a second without fumbling with cables. It’s been three weeks of daily use and the switch hasn’t missed a single signal yet.
